National Certificate in Solid Waste Disposal - Landfill Operations

This National Certificate recognises the skills and knowledge of an experienced landfill operator. The holder of the qualification is able to work at a landfill in an operations role under general supervision.

This qualification follows on from the National Certificate in Solid Waste - Core Skills (Level 2) and leads to the National Certificate in Solid Waste Disposal - Landfill Management.

It is recommended that prior to achievement of this qualification candidates have knowledge of safe handling and disposal of solid waste. This may be evidenced by achievement of the National Certificate in Solid Waste - Core Skills (Level 2), or demonstration of equivalent knowledge and skills.
