This national certificate recognises the skills and knowledge of an introductory scrap metal recycling worker.
This qualification leads to the
National Certificate in Scrap Metal Recycling – Operations (Level 3) and thereafter to the
National Certificate in Scrap Metal Recycling – Nonferrous Purchasing (Level 5).
This qualification has no restrictions on entry, but it is recommended that candidates who are new to the workforce gain credit for the
National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety - Workplace Safety (Level 1) prior to entry to this qualification.
