This qualification recognises the knowledge and skills of people who promote the principles of zero waste and resource recovery. Holders of this qualification are able to demonstrate specialised knowledge of zero waste principles and resource recovery practices.
This qualification may lead on from the
National Certificate in Zero Waste and Resource Recovery - Principles for Implementation (Level 3), or complement qualifications gained in other industries such as agriculture, forestry, fisheries, computing, commerce, construction, demolition, engineering, health, manufacturing, and retail.
It is recommended that people entering programmes leading to the award of this qualification possess group and written communication skills. Evidence of that ability might be demonstrated by achievement of standards at Level 4 or above in Interpersonal Communications and Writing.
