This qualification recognises the skills and knowledge of people working at supervisory level in the resource recovery industry in commercial or community-based resource recovery facilities.
This qualification builds on the
National Certificate in Resource Recovery Operations (Level 3) and may lead to the
National Diploma in Resource Recovery (Level 5) or the
National Diploma in Zero Waste and Resource Recovery (Level 5).
It is recommended that people entering programmes leading to the award of this qualification possess the skills and knowledge of workers in the resource recovery industry. This might be evidenced by achievement of the
National Certificate in Resource Recovery Operations (Level 3).
