National Certificate in Horticulture, with an optional strand in Cemetery
Level 3 Credits 105
This is a qualification for people with some experience in the horticulture industry, and on completion they will be able to apply their skills and knowledge to carry out familiar tasks, under general supervision.
The optional cemetery strand is designed for cemetery workers or sextons, to cover the skills required by the sector and provide a means of recognising prior learning for those already working in a cemetery.
This qualification is not a prerequisite for higher level National Certificates in Horticulture, however the higher level certificates do build on the skills and knowledge recognised in this qualification.
