National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety - Co-ordination

Level 4 Credits 65

This qualification is designed for all industries and has a flexible structure to meet different needs. It is intended that safety supervisors, co-ordinators or team leaders will be the main candidates for this qualification. The content assumes the candidate is a holder of the National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety - Workplace Safety (Level 3) or has equivalent experience, and as such has a good grounding in safety specific practices within industry.

This qualification will be awarded to people who have gained a minimum total of 65 credits at level 4 or above, and who have met the requirements of the compulsory and elective sections.

ELECTIVE B: The balance of credits, if required, to achieve a minimum of 65 credits (Level 4 or above), may come from anywhere in the following Subfields;
Forestry
Seafood
Management
Adult Education and Training
Generic Education and Training
