National Certificate in Dairy Farming - Managing Dairy Farm Effluent

This qualification is designed for people working at, or intending to work at, a supervisory level and who are involved with managing a dairy farm effluent system. It recognises the skills and knowledge required to minimise the effect of dairy effluent in and around the farm dairy and dairy farm, and to increase profitability through maximising the use of effluent as a fertilser.

This qualification has a relationship with the National Certificate in Dairy Farming – Animal Health and Husbandry, the National Certificate in Agriculture - Feeding and Pastures and the National Certificate in Dairy Farming - Milking.

On completion of this qualification holders can progress to the Dairy Farming strand of the National Certificate in Agriculture (Level 4), or the National Certificate in Agriculture - Production Management.
