National Diploma in Adult Education and Training

Level 5  Credits 120

This National Diploma is a qualification designed for people following a career that requires significant expertise in adult education and training. People awarded this qualification have shown specialised academic and technical competence in the areas of assessment, delivery, design and development, and evaluation of adult education and training in a New Zealand/Aotearoa cultural context.

This qualification may lead on from the National Certificate in Adult Education and Training (Level 4) and the National Certificate in Adult Education and Training (Level 5).

 

ELECTIVE 1: A minimum of 80 credits at level 5 or above is required from the following Domains.

Design and Development of Adult Education and Training
Evaluation in Adult Education and Training
Delivery of Adult Education and Training
Assessment of Learning
Management of Adult Education and Training

ELECTIVE 2: A minimum of 40 credits at level 5 or above may be drawn from anywhere on the DAS.
